The service
Arete is a workout tracking app operated by Dario Dastan. By creating an account you agree to these terms.
Eligibility
You must be at least 14 years old to use Arete.
Your account
You are responsible for keeping your login credentials safe and for everything posted from your account. You can delete your account at any time in the app (Settings, then Delete account).
Subscriptions
Arete offers auto-renewing subscriptions after a 7-day free trial, billed through your Apple ID. The price and billing period are shown before purchase. Subscriptions renew automatically until cancelled at least 24 hours before the end of the current period, in Settings, then Apple ID, then Subscriptions. Purchases are also governed by Apple's standard Licensed Application End User License Agreement.
Community rules
Sessions you post to the feed are visible to your accepted friends. You agree not to post content that is unlawful, abusive, or infringes someone else's rights. You can report posts and block users in the app; we may remove content or accounts that break these rules.
Your content
You own what you post. By posting, you give us the limited license needed to store and display it to the friends you share it with. Deleting your account removes your content.
Health disclaimer
Arete records your training; it does not provide medical or coaching advice. Consult a professional before starting an exercise program, and train within your limits.
Liability
Arete is provided as is, without warranties. To the extent permitted by law, we are not liable for indirect damages or data loss beyond what we can reasonably control.
Changes
We may update these terms as the service evolves. Material changes will be announced in the app.
